68 Sqdn. RCT/446 CLUB/RHEINDAHLEN in 1970 written by Bill Skinner
I am Bill's widow Marjorie, we had 2 daughters, Alison and Belinda. I helped Bill (Jock) run the 446 Club for a while, and Rose and Helen used to help. (from 29 Coy). Friends with Jo & Roy McDougall, Anne & Jimmy Carroll, Anne & Smudge Smith and Pete and Freda Tong. Lived in Auckland Crescent, Remember many good times and the 446 Club and the Josh next door,. The Saga of Nicky's Tie is one memory. Also fond memories of 'Stick Man' and his Budgies. Bill died years ago, but am trying to collate information for my Grandson, so would be oblidged if anyone could help me and get it touch. We left in 1974, back to Blighty. Still hear from the Tongs, and would love to get in touch with any of the old crew. |
