Middle Wallop to Hill House in 1954 written by Brian Laming
Arrived M.W.from Hednesford in Jan'54 and, after training as Fighter Plotter, was sent to RAF Stanmore Park, to work in Hill House. The W.O.Man was Downing who married WAF Sgt.Keating (?). Quite a few names are still lodged in my memory; in particular, Louis Taylor who worked with me in the Training Section under Flt.Lt.Easterling. Is there anyone out there from this era? |
