H.M.S.Albion, Her Majesties Visit to the Fleet at Invergordon in 1957

 On the 28th May 1957, I had the honour of being one of the members of the Fleet Concert both as a soloist and base harmony of the Albinos group along with Fred Illingworth,Henry Jones,Brian Loten and Thorliegh Bekkevold. It was a show that could have done fantastic on any theatre in the world, a company of 179 in show and 26 organising staff with the help of Naval wives, who made the costumes. I also made a record for the BBC on the same show.
If there is anyone else out there who remembers, especially the other Albinos, come back, I will be waiting. |
