does anyone out there remember the RAOC
at "D" camp the one opposite the Cartwheel cafe.
There were Pioneers in there as well as the RAOC.
I met a local girl Rose in Building 3 and on demob from national service in 1952 married her and we have lived here
till this day.
The only person I can remember was S/sgt
Green in the stores.
I was in the A.E.R for about 10 years
going to camp for two weeks every year
some of the places were Chillwell, Bicester,Bordon(2)Donnington(3)Newark-on-Trent

There is nothing worse than breaking down. But if you do, the RAC have more than 1,500 patrols ready to rescue you, whether you are at the shops or on the motorway. They will always try to fix your vehicle at the roadside, but if they cant they will make getting it repaired as painless as possible.
