north africa/ italy in 1945 written by john side
I am enclosing a photograph of a postcard showing the route my father took during his time in the 5th and 8th army. The original drawing was done by my father and photographed in italy in approx 1945. He thinks about 500 of these were distributed to the men in his regiment. I wonder if any of these remain, and if so would be grateful to hear from anyone who has a copy or indeed remembers my father.
