RMP London District in 1960

 This is where I spent the majority of my national service. Some of it confined to barracks. Just because I had my girl friend in the same Land Rover whilst escorting a prisoner. Unfortunately pulling up alongside the DAPM in Knightsbridge.One of the guys I met in training and teamed up with in London District in the Absentee & Deserter section ended up by being the best man at my wedding. Accompanied by my eldest son, I recently (March 04) re-visited the old site which is now no longer there. I now live in California USA |
