Majunga, Madagascar in 1965 written by Richard Dawnay
Does anyone else remember living in the beach hut holiday camp at Mujunga and driving through the croc. farm on the way to work? Do you remember the lack of spares to keep the Shacks flying, the resturant wher it was a race to eat the food before the flies pinched it and the airport toilets where oxygen was a must? Halceyon days of the mid 60's. Harold Wilson Holidays. Uniform was KD and flip-flops. |
