Egypt/Palestine in 1945

 Trying to locate, on behalf of my father, anyone who served with the 1st British Infantry Division from 1945/47. He was based initially in Cairo (Al Massa Camp) then on to Palestine Hypha/Pardisana (please forgive my spelling). My fathers details back then were, 14783699 Gunner Jonny Macdonald. He tells me he remembers knowing well a Geordie Grey and a Geordie Clarke. If anyone out there can help I'd be very grateful. |
