cyprus ghq car company episcope in 1956

 hi guys i am sgt arthur farring who served in the ghq car company at episcope from 27 july to 16 aug 1959. i was transpor sgt and have many photos of that time. to gether with the few accidens we had on the cantonement road. the
re were good time at that time despite the eoka scare and the restrictios to our activities. but towards the end things got better. i got to know a lot of the locals and we had good time traveling the island. still have cyprus and keo bottle tattooed on my right arm . i am now living in adelaide south australia. after leaving the army in the 1962 and emmigrating to here in 1967. coud not stay in uk as it was going the wrong way from my piont of view. and as it was i was prooved right.
an ex serviceman gets very good treatment here.in health and other ways. would not swap it at any time now.
