Stanley Fort (Hong Kong) in 1970 written by George Best
I was stationed in Stanley Fort between 1969-1971. At first I was in Alma Company, then transfered to the MT section. I remember the typhoon hitting us, and we were locked in the rooms (which were condembed as unsafe in 1945)for two or three days! Remember the cap badge changing parade? then we had another one the next year, Any members remember these events? were you in 1DWR at this time? contact me at we will maybe chew some fat? |
