Berlin 247 Provost Co 1964/5 in 1964

 I was posted to 247 in August 1964 and our first night was spent in the Cpls Mess. As Di told us "either you go up or they will come and fetch you".
so after a weary day on the train from the zone Joan and I went to the mess.
A great night after all!
We had come up to work on the Checkpoints; Angie; (she married Charlie an American MP)Joan; Ann (who married her beloved Martin;)Doreen (she married her Terry and he was last heard of at the RMP Depot as RSM) And me; (I married the REME Cpl) You were a wonderfull group of girls and made my time in Berlin very enjoyable.
