Jordan 3Para in 1958 written by Malcolm Kay
I remeber landing at Amman airport at about midnight in first aircraft over from Cyprus with A Coy and Batt HQ and finding out only a couple of planes of the convoy had landed and the rest had been turned back over Isrial we were completely isolated for about 12 hours. It was pucker factor 99. We were surrounded by the Jordain Army and we didnt know wether they would remain loyal to Hussein. As you can see we survived but it made for an interesting few days |

There is nothing worse than breaking down. But if you do, the RAC have more than 1,500 patrols ready to rescue you, whether you are at the shops or on the motorway. They will always try to fix your vehicle at the roadside, but if they cant they will make getting it repaired as painless as possible.
