BMH Hong Kong, Aldershot, HMTS Dilwara, BMH Hong Kong in 1948 written by William Grierson
Dad enlisted at Aldershot on 18th March 1948. By the 14th May that year he had passed his course of RAMC instruction and the 31st August 1948 saw him as a Nursing Orderly, Group C, Class iii.
Dad then set sail from the port of Southampton on the 25th November 1948 on the HMTS Dilwara.
Would be great to hear from anyone who served with him.
Thanks his son Bobby
