, National Service REME Blandford in 1956 written by Bryan Mead
After booking in guard room we unknowingly walked onto the parade square A voice like thunder roared GET OFF MY SQUARE That was just the start
It seemed at the time that nobody asked you they just balled orders at you First time we wore our horse blankets (Great coats) we got a rollicking because they were nt pressed nicely WHY? I said how can 20 odd men turn out smart with 1 iron and I suppose your wife presses yours After a lot of swearing our nice Sgt doubled us up and down the road till we almost dropped I kept my mouth shut after that |

There is nothing worse than breaking down. But if you do, the RAC have more than 1,500 patrols ready to rescue you, whether you are at the shops or on the motorway. They will always try to fix your vehicle at the roadside, but if they cant they will make getting it repaired as painless as possible.
