14 days cruising (?) down the Channel, across The Bay of Biscay (most everyone being sick in a storm) through the Straits of Gibralta, anchoring off Tripoli overnight and then onward to Port Said, with its scores of ’bum’ boats and young boys diving for coins in the harbour, where we disembarked. During the trip saw Porpoises, Flying fish and a multitude of seabirds. So sad that I; and many of us on board, did just not appreciate at the time what fantastic sights we were being indulged |
