No 1 AA Practice Camp Workshops in 1951 written by John G Whitehead
All the pictures were taken at Weybourne Norfolk which is now a military museum. I helped to form a camera club within the unit and wonder if anyone recogises themselves in these pictures. I was a gun fitter and the group pictures show all our AA gun maintenance group. I have loads of photos taken there in 1951 - 1952 of this paticular unit if you want to get in touch with me. Previous to being at Weybourne, I was mainly at No 4 ARMT TRG Batt. REME at Blackdown and have several pictures taken of the gun training courses there in 1950 - 1951. |
