believe it or not thecamp i was at had a "pig farm"guard ,and yes we had mount up for it in best B.D.& rifles on the main parade ground. (yes we did have to guard pigs belonging to the JERRIES ) having spent the previous new year on NASAFIA BRIDGE,(i think thats what they called it))in the canal zone ,yes you can guess it ,i fell for guard commander on this one no driks for us just a dixie of stewed tea & corned dog sandwhiches. stil we were better off than the lads in korea. maurice |
