 i remember when the army game was very popular, they came to urmston to open a army surplas store called terrys, and they asked to use a army lorry so me and a sgt had to meet them on the east lancs road and drove them in. and i had alfie bass in the cab with me and all the others where on the back with the sgt. the streets were packed with people. so that was my defineing moment while in the forces |
