Provost Company, in 1952 written by John Renton Denholm
Can anyone recall our small unit 615 SMPS RMP just north of Suez ? We were on duty at Suez Docks and in the Garrison, including the open air cinema - all very volatile at that time. We were moved to Moascar Garrison early in the year. Sergt. ’Jock’ Muirhead was Section Sergt. In Moascar duties were nearly all VIP Escort and I did APM’s driver etc.
A long time ago but still in the memory!
