Royal Signals, in 1944 written by Sydney Emptage
Spent first 6 weeks at Fulford Barracks, York, then transferred to Catterick for 6 months training as radio op (B3), spent 6 months in England at various units then sent to India and then on to Signapore when Japs surrendered. Spent some time at Changi, then at two other sites and ended up in transmitter station at Korean camp as Cpl in charge of main store room. Demob in August 1947. |
