Cyprus..Nicosia 1958 /59 in 1958

...Meet some great guys and had some fun times..hiring motor bikes from Nic and sticking a few pints of Av Gas from the air field bowsers..yes I relize it was intended for airctaft..but a small amount added to the petrol and the bike went like a rocket...but only for a while before the valves burnt out!!...Just one of the stupid things we did. As new AC's to Nicosia we went for a stroll,with side arms and ended up walking down murder mile..until the MP's dragged us away in their jeep and informed how lucky we had been...Would love to meet old R.A.F.friends again.. |
