Signals Unit Cyprus, in 1976

 I played football,rugby,cricket and was the inter service 400mtr champion. i would love to here from anybody who remembers me from any of the camps i was based at.Cyprus was a very special posting for me. 33 signals unit was only a small camp, but we always put out a good team know matter what we did. I remember the dhekalia dash 13 runners running a mile each, in 90degs of heat. That was some race.I enjoy cosford for obvious reasons as you can see from one of my photos. whilst doing are trade training i was lucky enough to be in a class of 15 fantastic ladies and only four blokes. HEAVEN. Buchan was my first posting. i met a lot of very good friends here. ive only managed to contact Yve Govier from that site id love to catch up with anyone else who was based there in 73/75. |
