doing floatation excercises in 200 signal sqn afv 432s on the river weser near HAMELN and as reported in THE WIRE one of the 432s was seen disappearing round a bend in the river and as far as i can remember the commanders name was LOFTY WOODHALL.
arriving in singapore in november of 1967 and being taken to the seven storyes hotel to stay the night with my wife margaret and young son paul,oh the sights,sounds and smells will never be forgotten.then travelling the next day on the train into malaya and being picked up in a landrover from tampin railway station and being dumped in a hotel on klebang besar near malaca not knowing a soul and when i did get into camp it was to find everyone was on excercise.what an experience
