 21 Sig/Regt,RAF Wildenrath, as Bob Taggart reminded me, caught by snowdrops with a female in the billet.Later that year to become my wife (liz Kewell WRAC) Put on a 252, Charged admonished when the CO was told liz and I were to be married in june that year I invited him&wife,but he declined offer but offered the CO car for the wedding, JOB DONE, ha ha, great times, great mates. We invited the whole billet and HQ Sqn to the wedding. Brill do with fond memories.Memories at 21 Signal Regt, THE PIGS BAR and NAFFI disco’s, some of the guys, Geordie Lowden, Bob Taggart, Rich Allen, Daisy May Jimmy the cook,L/Cpl Proudfoot(deceased) Vinny & Dave,Neil Bartlett, Paddy Malseed,La La the jamacian card gambler to name afew of a great bunch of buddies. The grub in the cookhouse was the best in Germany.
