RAAF Butterworth, 60 Squadron clerk in 1965 written by Hugh McLennan
Hello peeps. I used to sit in the office updating the manuals and collecting the mail and then having a drink in the NAAFI at night. I was only a callow youth at the time and my memory is not too good. I only remember Paddy Boomer ? and a chap called ’Tiger’. My dad died in 1964 whilst out there and I was also best man at a wedding and cant remember any names other than there was a guy called Taff who worked on the telephone exchange. Someone must remember me.....help !! |
