Chatham 3 RSME in 1996 written by Richard Brough
Sat in the canteen one dinner time waiting for a mate to finish lunch. We were sat talking and I was sat playing with a sachet of tomato sauce. Rolling it up and squashing it. I knew what could happen, but didn't think it would as I wasn't squeezing the sachet that hard. However, the sachet suddenly popped, no exploded. All the contents flew straight across the table, across my mates shoulder on to the back of the heads of a group of Commandos who had just sat down to lunch, the whole table turned round and I thought I was going to get a beating. I apologised and said it was an accident. I don't know how I didn't get a beating though, as I apologised through fits of laughter :-)
