training as airframe mechanic...1947 (after which i was posted to RAF Hullavington Empire Flying School) after serving with 28Sqd in Hong Kong(Kai Tak)was posted back to COSFORD(1952-55)...regular visits to most pubs in Albrighton the Crown the Harp,Albrighton Arms etc..playing for the local football team,having to change in the local school,then at times had to help to to remove cattle of the pitch..we walked to Shifnal to the Station Hotel(one of our ’Tribe’ was related to the manager,and wife...very
good hospitiality,walking back to camp
via a short cut around the water pumping station(I wonder if that unit is still there,i would think it is listed building).at Cosford the school of P/T was there and a number of sports
