cyprus in 1960

 I look back on my service in the military with pride and proudness to have done my bit for queen and country .I was a member of sgt Hellings 745 squad at inkerman,two weeks at Melton Mowbrey(dog course)then Cyprus.i met many wonderful people,all ranks and often reflect on what they are doing and where they are these days.I know i had some great times with great friends (not forgetting the dogs)Paddy piggot the cook getting his long service medal presented by the provost marshal for 22 years undetected crime which was a hoot at the time |
