Swimming Parties to Kyrenia in 1958

 Riding "shotgun" on Trucks, Champs and Land Rovers. A lot of the 3Tonners would boil over and we would have to sit and wait for them to cool down. When we arrived at the beach it was a case of sprinting for the water as the sand was to hot to stand on !!
Acting as the "tailors dummy" when changing from "winter" uniform to "summer" KD`s. However much I tried the RSM always found "something" wrong !! |
