I was here when the station was passed back to the RAF,working in the control tower.
There was such a long drive from the gates to accomodation blocks.Having done a long pub crawl round the village, once you reached the gates, my bed always seemed miles away and more often than that by the time I reached the blocks I was sober again !!!
