Wilsow RAF in 1953 written by Muriel Stevenson(neeLake)
It was on a Church parade, when a Young WRAF whose name I can on ly remember now was June, She had been brought up by grandparents, and never been christened. The Padre had talked to her about it, and she was christened on a full church parade, and she asked if I would sing something for her. It was "Take my life and let it be', even now at 78 I still think of her when ever I sing it.
I wonder where she is today, does anyone know? |
