I am trying to trace people who knew my father his name was
Albert Henry Knight he was a Batman
He was from the Lincolnshire area of Spilsby all I know is he was stationed in the Cumbria area Grange Over Sands possibly 1942 to 1945
Alber Henry Knight in 1941 was stationed at Watchfield on his records it says 50 Group Pool
I am also trying to trace people who knew my mother
Elizabeth Eleanor Winder of Lindale Cumbria
Elizabeth was probably in the WAAF possibly Batwomen in officers mess or possibly waitress Grange over Sands Hotel in 1942
In 1946 I know she was in the Belper area Derbyshire
I dont know what year she joined the WAAF but I have seen her in the uniform but I no longer have acess to the photo
