GRAND CENTRAL HOTEL,BELFAST in 2009

 the GCH must be the most bombed building in the world, it was hit twice on our tour, on the second occasion there was not enough time to get out.
the lads on my foot patrol and numerous wracs had to go into the cellar which was an old air raid shelter.
when the bomb, a 750 pounder went of the noise and shockwave was totally incredable,the worst part of the experience was the smell of gas, lots of flatulance both male and female was very evident. |
