68th training regt. RAC catterick camp in 1953 written by dennis(dave) bryan
Can anyone remember there days at Catterick in SEPT 53,I in was C troop with Cpl Perryman, christ he put us through it,I remember a couple of lads Bill Aldiss and Don Campell.
best source of entertainment was the NAFFI cause Richmond and Darlington were rubbish for us squaddies, still after the initial shock wore off we began to enjoy it and I passed out as a fully qualified wireless instructor it was even better when posted to our Regt. mine was the 6th RTR at Munster.
Hoping someone out there remembers as well. |
