 The last post at the closing of HMS SUSSEX and the mess party afterwards. Where Terry Luke drunk himself stupid and was found in a heap on the Parade Ground.
The Junior rates including myself singing our version of Queen which still sticks in my mind now. And finally the sad Decommisioning Ball at Hove Town Hall with all my friends. HMS Sussex was such a happy place to be and had a true atmosphere. |
