i remember getting a taxi from farnborough to the main gate(remember the one at the guard room)and having to go into the guard room to ask for directions from the duty nco who looked pleased to see fresh victims/recruits arriving.i got directions to the barbers as they said my hair was not short enough for them,then to the spider for the next few months(number 8 i think)my section nco was l/cpl musgrove and the troop sgt was livingston(what an a--e he was)the jdis name was pete scott he actually got posted to my unit
every recruit troop had a number and ours 76/5 if there is anyone reading this who was at southwood at this time or if you remember me i would like to hear from you
