in late 1957 iwas based in freshwater
i.o.w and done a seamans course.we were
taught all the basics of seamans ship
morse code semephore code and written
work at golden hill fort and handling fast launches also learning to scull and row dories in freshwater bay.when i
finished the course i was posted onto
l.c.t 2072 in portsmouth and our unit
was called 76 squadron i would like to hear from anyone who was in the same
squadron in 1957 1958 1959 1960 |
