Hawker Henley Taking off with a Fitter sitting on the leading edge of the tailplane..It took off over the cliffs out to sea did a left bank up Hele bay up the valley and landed safely. The fitter jumped off safely ,the Henley took off again. The fitter was posted two days later. It was normal practice to Jack-nife over the tailplane when testing engine boost. |
