Guildford Training Camp in 1959 written by Pat O'Dwyer
Hi, Does anybody remember guildford June 1959?? New recruits, new sprogs I was in the Green section alongside hundreds of other wrac's we had a large Sgt who was in charge of us. My name was Rusty, my number being W403633, we had 5 weeks of crazy training, uniforms that hardly fitted, remember the scramble for the iron to get our uniforms pressed. Made lots of friends especially Taffy, from Bridgend, Kathy Burke from the valleys, if anybody remembers, give me a bell. Pat |
