Malta in 1966 written by David Shapcott
Happy days with the Loyal North Lancs regt stationed in St Andrews Barracks. Col Collins was the CO and RSM Tetlow. We used to finish work at 1pm every day and the rest of the time was yours to do what you liked. Apart from going to Libya every now and then on excercise it was a great 2yr and six months posting. Out all night and on parade at six! with the band playing on the parade ground and RSM Tetlow giving us all an hang over. They were great days. |

There is nothing worse than breaking down. But if you do, the RAC have more than 1,500 patrols ready to rescue you, whether you are at the shops or on the motorway. They will always try to fix your vehicle at the roadside, but if they cant they will make getting it repaired as painless as possible.
