 joining as a boy. best mates ever. being hungry all the time.learning to laugh at ourself.feet not touching the floor.going to jail. and going to jail again.becoming a man.fit and confident. saying goodbye medical discharge. trying to get back in. hated civvy street.became adult instructor acf. not the same but had its rewards.still missed mates and army life. couldnt cope with md started drinking drugs.bad dreams bad times. got into the t,a tried to get into the reg,s again and again. trained for p coy and medic. didnt get on with the airborne way. asked to join queens fusilieirs train their drums. |
