Fighter plotting at Hill House, Stanmore Park in 1954 written by terence frith
After sqhare bashing at West Kirby I went to Middle Wallop to train as a fighter plotter. Arrived at Stanmore Park in August. I remember the march up Green Lane every morning to the unit at Hill House. Would like to hear from anyone who remembers those days and would especially like to hear from Chris Toefield, Jimmy Everall, Roy Sheehan or anyone who may remember me! |
