i ARRIVED AT TOPCLIFF LATE 1947, i WAS AN ELECTRICIAN 2 SERVICING AVRO ANSONS AS TOPCLIFF WAS THEN No1 ANS WE LATER CHANGED TO TRANSPORT COMMAND WHERE WE WENT THROUGH THE BERLIN AIRLIFT. I LEFT THERE LATE 1949, I REALLY ENJOYED MY TIME AT TOPCLIFF, I MADE MANY FRIENDS WHO I HAVE LOST TOUCH WITH. I NOW LIVE IN AUSTRALIA.I SERVED JUST OVER 14YRS IN THE RAF & RAFVR |
