WW11 Atlantic MN/RAF/AAC in 1942

My father was in the British MN during 1942 he was Galley Boy.I have joined this site because of my fathers Military Service.His name was Robert greig Bone.My name is above as a proud Ex veterans Daughter.My father joined the Christian Holm ship /Glasgow October 1942 to NewYork with full convoy re Atlantic. Then at 17yrs old 1943 British RAF. End 1944 AAC Rhine /Germany March 1945.Ended up in North Field Military Hospital.Gun Shot wound to head in Parachute regiment .

As above my father also was in the British RAF after serving with the MN, he was an Airgunner in 1943.Then transferred to Parachute regiment jumped over the Rhine into Germany March 24th 1945 and was shot in head but survived.My name is in the box above but i am acting on behalf of my father who passed over at 50yrs old in Aussie.He wore the Moroon beret and silver wings.My father was born Ayrshire Stevenston Scotland.Robert Grieg bone Scotty was also Drummer.
