Training at bowerham Barracks Lancaster JAN 1958. Sailed Empire Fowey June for Kenya. Arrived Mobassa then by train to to Nairobi and then To Gil Gil for twelve months.Loved it then home on the Dunedin ang to Barnard Castle for amalgamation with the Border Regiment, which I missed. I was posted to Millom on a civil defence course until discharge. It would be great to hear from somebody from the past. |
