Colchester Military Hospital in 1968 written by Tony Pearson
Oh the good days, Vic Block, The Queens Pub, The Brit pub. To be surrounded by lovely nurses all day long was a pleasure to behold and I treasure my many memories. It was the diversity of the many friends that also added to the pleasure of serving at this hospital. My nickname was Tosh (Pearson), so if any of you ex CMH people out there remember give me a bell. I trained to be a male nurse and also spent some time in the Path Lab.The names I recall from those days are Ian Kidstone RADC, now in Canada; Graham Nye RAMC, now in Oz; Dave Bevan RAMC; Derek Proudfoot RAMC; Barry Vella-Tomlin, RAMC; Dave Menhennet RAMC; Mick Bustin RAMC; Scouse Evans RAMC; having problems recalling more, help me out here anyone. |
