Nicosia Cyprus in 1956

 Arrived in Cyprus june 56 from Aden. (Aircraft Crash Rescue,) )(whilst in Aden learned basic notes on Double Bass), One evening a trad band The Alakific Stompers was playing in the NAFFI (Nicosia)and their bass player was going home I took over from him.Cant remember the names now but through that i did a two week tour of the camps with Lita Rosa the drummer was also from the band they called him Terry,Anyone who can shed light on this I would be extatic i came home in 58. |
