Folkestone excercise in 1987 written by Warren Mcilveen
I remember being on excercise in Folkestone, when it did nothing but rain for three days and nights. The main memory being on hospital duty with Sgt Davies from training company HQ (everyone was going down with hypothermia) and falling asleep on the M20 whilst driving a landy with a trailer full of live ammo. (thanks go to whoever it was in the back who woke me up and kept me awake until we reached Deepcut, wish I could remember who that was now!!) |
