France in 1920
written by Christine Burkitt

Hi , Just someone I always think about this time of year. My Dad. He fought in 2 world wars but he made history in the first one. His family got a telegrame to say he was missing believed dead. His name went on the war memorial for those killed in the 1914-18 war, in Boston Lincolnshire. It turned out that he had been wounded and was a P O W . His name is still on that war memorial to this day because they said it would spoil the stone!! His Name was William Moyer. Christine Burkit(Moyer)
