Tobruk in 1969

 During a live fire detachment to El Adem and a visit to Tobruk. Walking up to the Garrison to catch a bus back to El Adem and seeing a kid chasing another kid down the road trying to brain him with a rock held above his head that was nearly as big as the kids head.Also another kid trying to sell us time with his sister. Makes you realise that however bad our society is it could get a lot worse. Also points out the advantages of giving kids lego, never see one kid trying to murder another with a leo brick. |
